Bikes and Gear

Our touring bikes are Cannondale T800's  that we bought back in May 2000. Yes they are (or were) identical- same colour, same frame size, just set up a little differently. They both have Brooks Team Pro saddles on them now-mine is brown, Marilyn's is black. Shifters (brifters) we upgraded a couple of years ago from the stock Tiagra to Ultegra that we got a deal on. Stayed at 9 speed, with 3 chainrings. I think we currently run chainrings of 22-38-48. The bikes came stock, as many touring bikes do, with standard "road cranks" with 30-42-52 chainrings, which are little too big of gears for us, and for most people who tour I think. The cassette is an 11-32 MTB from SRAM.
